    Pentax Optio V10
  • Press release at dpreview, Imaging Resource
  • Pentax seems to be soul searching again, as this new V-series is yet another twist in their lineup. It is a return to the superslim cameras of the shared Pentax/Casio designs of a few years ago. While Casio continued to go on and on with those, Pentax scaled back a bit on the S-series. And now we have the V-series.
  • It has an 8mp 1/2.35" CCD sensor.
  • Pedestrian 36-108 eq 3x optical zoom lens, no stabilization
  • 3" LCD, LiIon battery
  • 19mm thick
  • No need to mention face priority anymore, all new cameras have it.
  • You can pre-order it at Amazon for $250 with an estimated shipping date of Thanksgiving 2007.
