  • According to digitalcamera.jp, Fuji has issued a small firmware update for the Fuji S8000fd to fix a couple of issues. It is firmware version 1.01. They also inform us that the new Canon EF-S 55-250 F4-5.6 IS lens will be released one month later than planned in Japan. Now you can expect it in late November.
  • The fix is in! The fix for the Canon 1D Mark III that is. More at the Imaging Insider.
  • Lyra technologies has read the tea leaves and they see more megapixels. Now that's a shocker :)
  • The PhotoPlus Expo is happening as we speak this week in NYC, and a number of companies are issuing press releases on a variety of products and subjects. Check them all out at the Imaging Insider.

  • From the interesting world of Blog Rush widgets we found this interesting story: The musical group The White Stripes have branded their own limited edition Lomographic film cameras.
