Impact pre-production review: E-Photographia gives the Olympus E3 a stress test!

e-photographia.com took a pre-production Olympus E3 on a magical mystery tour and gave it a test for the ages. Some of the things they test: ISO 400 vs ISO 1000, metering, and the AF speeds when using the 12-60 SWD lens. As you may recall from the press release, Olympus claims wonders. Was Olympus true in their advertising? And what about the auto focus speed when using the 50-200 SWD lens instead? And how about the rain? Does it like the water?

And yes, pixel peepers, e-photographia cares for you, they have ISO 3200 pictures for you to dissect :)

And be sure to check page 6, with pictures of the camera in action, along with pictures of the swivel screen in action, and Olympus reps smiling while their cameras were getting rained on :)

Please keep in mind, as E-Photographia.com stresses, this is a hands-on first impressions test using a pre-production camera. This is not a full review of a production camera! But it is very exciting to have a preliminary review!

Find out what they found out in their Olympus E3 pre-production test pages!
