New Nikon 16-85 DX VR, PC-E and Macro lenses!

As rumored and leaked and pre-leaked, Nikon has announced a new trio of lenses!



Meet the AF-S DX NIKKOR 16-85mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR

  • Very versatile 24mm to 127mm equivalent range on the Nikon-mount DX DSLRs (all Nikon and Fuji, except for the Nikon D3 as of right now)
  • VR is a must given that Sony, Pentax, and Olympus are offering sensor shift image stabilization
  • Just 17oz!
  • Price: $650 (March 2008), available for pre-order at Amazon. Also available for pre-order at Adorama.

  • this is a 35mm full frame lens (FX)
  • 90mm equivalent when used on the DX DSLRs (all Nikon and Fuji except for the D3)
