Olympus has also announced two new memory cards that promise (claim) to be 1.5x faster than the previous Olympus xD memory cards. Details at Oly Japan and digitalcamera.jp.
The new cards will be out in Spring 2008, and are named "M+", something very search engine friendly ;-) We can also call them "M plus" :)
The two models are at 2gb and 1gb, aptly named M-XD2GMP and M-XD1GMP.
