Nikon mentor podcast, new smile detectors and more (Inside the Imaging Insider)

There's always new things happening in the world of photography and imaging. Obviously we can't get a brand new DSLR every day, but there's a whole lot more to the world of imaging. And the Insider is a good source for a wide angle view!

Let's see some interesting stories posted there the last few days. First up, a podcast with Nikon Mentor Mark Alberhasky. He talks about photography but also has a treat for gadgetologists: He talks of the Nikon D3 and D300!

Canon fans, be sure to check the official Canon press release of their "Your ticket to the Super Bowl" campaign. As you may recall, Canon is the camera of the NFL. Watch out for TO and his Sharpies, he may sign your lens ;-)

Fotonation launches a new smile detection technology, pre-announced for PMA 2008.

Printer fans be sure to take a look at print permanency ratings for the HP Photosmart Pro B8850 13×19-inch printer, produced by Wilhelm Imaging Research, Inc.

Meanwhile Kodak gets involved with The Apprentice. For this and more stories, be sure to visit and bookmark the Imaging Insider.
