Secrets Revealed: Who makes cameras for the big name Japanese manufacturers

While a number of digital cameras from Japanese companies carry the name of your favorite brand, a number of them are either designed or manufactured by a group of companies in Taiwan. DigiTimes.com posts a list of which major brands use which Taiwanese companies for the job. Taiwanese manufacturers, according to the report, are projecting to ship more than 60 million digital cameras in 2008, which could be about half of all digital cameras world wide!
