Casio EX-F1 goes on sale in Japan on March 28!

Good news for fans of the elusive and mysterious Casio EX-F1! According to digitalcamera.jp, it will go on sale on March 28, 2008 in Japan, for the lovely price of 128,000 yen. Not sure if this is before or after tax, or if this is list price or expected street price.

To re-familiarize yourself with this speed-demon, be sure to check our official announcement coverage.

And isn't that ironic, a new wave of 10mp 1/2.3" shiny silvers, while this one is 6mp 1/1.8"! But the Casio EX-F1 Pro continues to be a mystery in the US market, as none of the reputable online retailers seem to have it listed on their website for pre-ordering, or even for ...decoration!

Casio Japan will be showcasing the EX-F1, and their other products at the 2008 PIE in Tokyo. PIE is not a pie convention, but the Photo Imaging Expo :)

If you are in Japan and need to find the Casio booth, here are some computer-translated directions to get there:
