Reality Show: Who wants to make the next HP digital cameras?

We were checking the latest news at the Imaging Insider where we noticed this post discussing the future of HP digital cameras.

As you may recall, HP previously announced in November 2007 they were ejecting from the direct manufacturing and design of digital cameras, so now they are going to "hand off" their brand to a 3rd party company.

So now we have three companies vying for HP's services. Who are they, and who will win? We don't know the answer to the latter question, but we do know who the three finalists are.

And speaking of outsourcing, if you missed our previous post, here are some revelations on which OEM 3rd parties make digital cameras for the top Japanese manufacturers. Oh my! Secrets Revealed!
