Impact Review: Sony Alpha A350 at Imaging Resource!

We interrupt the Noisy Shopper feature to note that Imaging Resource has just posted their Sony Alpha A350 review. This is the Sony DSLR with the brand new 14mp CCD sensor, and just for that alone, it is worth looking and pixel-peeping to see how a 14mp sensor performs and how it compares with the more common 10mp/12mp sensors (CCD or CMOS).

As always we won't be revealing their conclusions as we do not want to introduce any bias in the first reading of the review! So you have to check IR to find out what they thought!

If you want to refresh your memory on the Alpha A350, be sure to check our A350 announcement coverage.

The A350 is available in various places online, including Sony Style, the official Sony store. All three kits (body only, with 18-70 DT, two-lens kit) of the A350 are shown as in-stock at Sony Style with an estimated shipping date of 4/14/2008. While there we noticed that the SAL-70200G (70-200 f2.8 G) is on sale for $2000.

And now we return to our regular programming.
