Pop Photo talks future DSLRs (speculation)

A quartet of Pop Photo luminaries got together and recorded a podcast discussion on what DSLRs to expect in the next few months. The discussion is in audio format, embedded in this Pop Photo audio page. You can also check a text-based summary of their round-table discussion.

This is a plenty of good discussion, although obviously nowhere near as in-depth as the dpreview forum discussions.

They cover Canon, Nikon, Pentax, Sony, Olympus, Fuji, Panasonic and such. We don't want to spoil the discussion, so be sure to check it out.

We are still trying to decide what type of speculation post to have for this year. Last year we did a giant Fauxtokina 2007 speculation spectacular, but that may have been a bit of an overkill :) What do you think? What type of speculation would you like to see? A summary type post or a long-winded detailed and in-depth hard-core series of posts? Let us know!

But we do have an on-going Photokina 2008 rumors round-up post that gets continually updated.

For those who may not be intimately familiar with rumoralia, there is a clear distinction between rumo(u)rs and speculation. Just like there is a difference between the announcement of a product ("we will be making a new camera...") and the release (immediate availability for purchase or shipment).
