SonyStyle creates Alpha DSLR specials for Father's Day

We have a Noisy Shopper's Alert! We mentioned a few days ago the Sony price cuts. Now Sony Style is offering nine different Sony Alpha DSLR bundles with additional discounts in some cases. These specials end on June 14, 2008.

The DSLRs featured in these bundles are the A300 and A350, and the bundles range from simple (DSLR + bag) to power-user six-packs. The most expensive of the bundles features the A350K (A350 with 18-70 DT lens), SAL 75-300 f4.5-5.6 lens, HVL-F42AM flash, VG-B30AM battery grip, and an accessory kit that includes an extra battery and Sony-branded DSLR bag (ACC-AMFM11). This bundle goes for $1330 at The same bundle but without the 18-70 DT lens goes for $100 less.

For a list of reviews and previews of all Sony Alpha DSLRs (and DSLRs of other brands) be sure to check the DSLR Map. For faster access, here are the slovenly profile pages for the Alpha A350 and Alpha A300 DSLRs.

Interesting how Sony has essentially turned its back on its prosumer A700 model, the only one with a CMOS sensor (and 'cooked' RAW).

Very good point! The A700 got blitzed by the A350/A300/A200 trio, and its price wasn't adjusted to compete with the DSLRs from other manufacturers.
