Panasonic LX3 pictures leaked?

We noticed some chatter on Flickr. In this flickr discussion a user says that half a dozen pictures he is posting were taken with a "Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX3". He has started an LX3 group on flickr, and LX3 pool with half a dozen pictures.

Do note that the pictures posted were taken in Monaco (south Europe), and just recently Let's Go Digital mentioned that they were in Monaco for a "business trip". That "business trip" could have been a Panasonic press event, showing their new products to the NDA press?

Again this is unverified, we are just passing this along, until we can find some time to look into it further. More on this later today...

UPDATE!
The LX3 is no longer a rumor, it has been officially announced by Panasonic!

They are indeed leaked - now 4pm has passed, the embargo has lifted. Give it a couple of hours and there'll be plenty of info about the LX3 - it's a 24mm wide angle f2.0 (leica lens). There should be no from-camera images as all products were samples only.
