It looks like the Leica-rebranding-Canon rumor has more legs! An update on the rumor at the Imaging Insider.
This seems an unlikely alliance on paper, but perhaps the recent moves by Zeiss and Schneider with competing mounts could "force" a marriage of convenience?

After all, Canon has "L" series lenses with what could some consider a stretched red dot :-)
