That's a total of 40 million expected sales out of a population of 300 million people. DSLRs are expected to sell even better, going up by half a million this year to 2.5 million units. That's about 6.25% of overall digital camera sales. It looks like the oil company execs are buying digital cameras for everyone ;-)
