A very busy thread in the dpreview Sony forum suggests that the highly anticipated Sony Minolta Alpha flagship DSLR announcement will come around September 10, 2008.
The A900 is expected to use the previously announced 24mp CMOS Exmor Sony sensor. Various mockups and in-betweens of the upcoming DSLR body have been traveling around the world, such as this one at Henry's in Canada in May.
The nation of Minolta, Sony and Alpha DSLR users have been waiting for this day for a long, long, long time! And it can't get here fast enough!
